So I just wanted to share a little secret…just between you and me. In my rare downtime at work, I get to get on the internet, but we have a program that blocks a lot of websites, including all blogs. ALL of them, can you believe it? So I never get to read them at [...]

Kitty and I’s ornament swap is done. The decoration she sent me is so pretty! I can’t wait to show all of you. I just haven’t had the time to get good pictures or get them downloaded and all that, but hopefully I can by Monday at the latest.

This looks promising…could it be?
I think it is!…..
Yes it is!! Yay, it’s my quilt returned from Randi Allen who amazingly quilted it on her longarm machine. Isn’t it beautiful? She does such great work. Here’s a couple of close up’s of her quilting…
You can check out her blog to see some other pictures of it [...]

Take 2 and call me in the morning

It’s official. I’ve caught the funk. That nasty virus that’s going around everywhere. It could have come from the UK, as several of my blogging friends over there have had it. It could have come from work. Everyone at work is sick. Or it could have come from my husband, he’s got it too. And this is [...]

Ladies and gentleman of the jury, I present to you a classic case of mystery. The facts are all here. The suspects have been booked, and the evidence spelled out. It’s up to you to decide….whodunnit.
THE VICTIM:
This poor unassuming quilt started her life as just a regular pattern. Destined for greatness. Her ingredients picked out with love. [...]

I sent the ornament off for the swap today. It was exciting to mail my first package outside the US. I hope it gets there, and I really hope Kitty likes it. If you don’t know Kitty, check out her blog. She’s hilarious. Thanks Indigo Blue for organizing the swap! It was a lot of fun!
I’ve [...]
Fiery Fall

We’ve got some beautiful red and orange trees around here this fall that I couldn’t help admiring. And I thought I’d share…
This one had a birds nest in it!
Belle really like going for a walk to take pictures of the trees too. She liked to lay on all the leaves that had fallen. [...]
Love/Hate Relationship with my Foot

Which at the moment is leaning more towards hate. No, I’m not talking about my human foot, (although I do have awfully cute green nail polish on my piggies right now), and I’m not even talking about my husband’s huge man feet. I’m talking about this foot…
(boo, hiss)
This is my 1/4″ piecing foot with guide. I was so [...]
The Eagle Has Landed!

The quilt is officially delivered safe and sound. And for future reference, I guess the tracking information only changes when it arrives. I think that’s only mildly helpful, because it’s kind of meant to be used for the in-between trip, right?…but whatever, it’s there, and that’s the important thing. A big thank you to Randi’s DH who [...]
