If you’ve followed my blog, you probably have heard me talk about my big plans for making a grandmother’s flower garden quilt. It was actually one of my new years list of things to do. And not just any gfg, but an authentic, totally hand pieced, gfg.
Anyway, I have all the fabric, but I’ve had [...]

Fabric Haul Part II

So continuing on…
None of these fabrics have a particular use in mind, I just loved them. The 2 rolled fat quarters on the top were on sale half-off.
The top one goes with the bluebonnet fabrics that my hubby brought back in January. I’m hoping to incorporate them into a true LoneStar quilt. The middle one [...]

Well, we’re back from Texas. We went to a wedding in Dallas over the weekend, and it was beautiful. We were in the car for 22 hours over 3 days, and my wonderful husband drove the whole way.
Although I don’t live there now, I have lived all over Texas at different times in my life. [...]
In-between

There’s really a lot going on, and nothing at the same time. I’ve been super busy this past week, but it’s that everyday, mundane stuff. Nothing near interesting to blog. So I’m kind of stuck in-between.
I’m taking this weekend off to go to the wedding of one of my husband’s relatives, so I’ve picked up [...]

This past weekend I picked up a few things at an estate sale. I just love estate sales. They’re so fascinating to me. It’s fun to try to figure out something about the people that lived there, by the things they left behind. I should start taking a camera with me. I’ve seen some really [...]

I recently won an amazing giveaway over at Sweet Cottage Dreams. Becky is a sweet sweet lady, and I’ve been very fortunate to begin to get to know her. She’s gone through a terrible loss recently, and her strength, courage, and faith are truly inspiring. If you haven’t been to her blog before, please check it out. You’re [...]

We bought the most absolutely delicious strawberries at the grocery the other day. And this one we thought looked like a heart! A little bit of a stretch, maybe, but I thought I’d share it with you.
