I can’t believe how fast December has flown. I know I say that about most months, but this one especially. I had a whole post-Christmas post planned, which is kind of irrelevant now that it’s New Year’s Eve. We had a wonderful Christmas here in our neck of the woods. I was so blessed to be able to spend the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays with my family.
I changed jobs beginning of November. I went from working in a hospital, to now working in an office as a physician’s nurse. Had I stayed at the hospital, I would have worked 12 hours each on all the holidays, as I have for the last several years. But this year, the office was closed, which meant I got to have a real holiday with my family. It was fantastic. My very favorite times are when the family is together. Even though we have a small family, it’s filled with so much love, and it’s always a good time. And speaking of, we’ve had some family come into town for New Years, so it’ll be another holiday party tonight. I hope I can actually stay up until midnight this year. That seems to get harder and harder each year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR’S!!!
