Happy Halloween

Tonight we went to the Family Fun Festival that our church was putting on.  They went all out with a carnival event.  Ferris wheels, tilt-a-whirls, funnel cakes, and the whole bit.  We went on a hay ride, and there were pony rides for the kids.  And the best fair food around.  Fair food and ballpark food rank up there on the top of my favorite foods list. 

I’ve ridden lots of roller coasters before, but this was the first time I’d ever been on a ferris wheel, and it was really neat.  I don’t know what it is about rides, but I love to take pictures of them.  Maybe it’s the architecture, or the lights, or the memories of going to the fair as a kid.  Here’s some of the ones I got…
